At the upcoming Glasstec the important event for the future of the German glass industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n

An Elb 11\/45 straight-line edging machine from Bovone<\/strong> will be the protagonist of the national pre-selection competition for the EuroSkills 2024<\/strong>, which will be held at the stand of the German Bundesinnenverband des Glaserhandwerks<\/strong> at Glasstec<\/strong>. The event is sponsored by the non-profit association representing the craft professions related to glass processing.<\/p>\n

Bundesinnenverband des Glaserhandwerks, constantly works with leading companies and other industry associations to develop new technical guidelines and improve standards, both nationally and internationally. The association’s request for a Bovone machine for this event is an important confirmation of the technological value and reliability of Bovone’s systems, which are already well known throughout Europe.<\/p>\n

Events such as the EuroSkills<\/strong> represent a showcase for the entire industry, where the skills of individual craftsmen and the evolution of the technologies used are put on display. Bovone, with its long experience in the field of glass processing machines, is one of the undisputed protagonists of this transformation, thanks to its continuous search for technical innovation.<\/p>\n

In the important exhibition setting of Glasstec 2024, a national pre-selection will take place in which 6-8 participants will compete on stage for the construction of a glass workpiece. In a challenge where creativity, precision and speed will be the key, competitors will have to cut, grind, polish and assemble a glass object whose design will only be revealed at the time of the competition.<\/p>\n

The choice to use a Bovone technology for the event is no coincidence: technical consultant Rolf Fuess, who previously worked with Wolff + Meier Glaswerke GmbH, has already had the opportunity to use a Bovone technology, purchased from his previous company in 2020, and recognised the high quality and efficiency of the system.
